WHAT MAKES THESE CLASSES DIFFERENT

Self defence — not sport or performance

These Wing Chun classes are designed for real situations, not competitions or demonstrations.

Training focuses on:
✔ Awareness and avoidance first
✔ Simple, repeatable movements
✔ Calm decision-making under pressure
✔ Protecting yourself and getting away safely

Fitness improves naturally through training — but self defence is always the priority.

WHAT A TYPICAL CLASS LOOKS LIKE

What happens in a session?

Each class runs for around 1 hour 15 minutes and includes:
✔ Warm-up & mobility
✔ Technical drills (solo and partner-based)
✔ Pad and bag work
✔ Reflex and coordination training
✔ Situational awareness exercises
✔ Progressive self defence drills

Beginners are guided carefully, and more experienced students help support learning — creating a strong, respectful training environment.

WHY WING CHUN WORKS FOR SELF DEFENCE

Designed for real people with real lives

Wing Chun is especially effective for self defence because:
✔ It doesn’t rely on size, strength, or flexibility
✔ It can be trained just once or twice a week
✔ Skills are learned from the very first session
✔ Techniques are direct, efficient, and practical

This makes it ideal for adults, women, teens, and anyone new to martial arts.

WHO TRAINS HERE

These classes are ideal if you:

✔ Are a complete beginner
✔ Want realistic self defence rather than a sport
✔ Are returning to fitness after a break
✔ Want to build confidence and self-belief
✔ Are a woman wanting practical personal safety skills
✔ Are a parent training alongside a teen (12+)

You don’t need to be fit or confident to start — that’s what the training builds.

CLASS SIZE & COACHING

Small classes. Hands-on instruction.

Classes typically range from 6 to 20 students, allowing for:
✔ Individual feedback
✔ Safe, supervised partner work
✔ Direct coaching from an experienced instructor

This ensures quality instruction — not being lost in a crowd.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED
